Rebecca was unaffected by knowing about her future execution on Saturday. After the fact, she looks shaky. It's different.

It's different when she has to watch somebody die.

I don't know. I'm not sure if I'm ready to use it so... I haven't asked yet. But knowing the story, I feel like it's "they'll forget me forever."

What's worse? You dying or you staying alive and not remembering me?

It just means I'll be careful not to get injured enough to that point. That was one of the first lessons I learned back home.

As much as I can promise without the Crafters trying to teleport me somewhere.

What about your extra goal. Is it something I can help with?

... Possibly, but I don't know if it counts if people are aware of it. So I'm not sure I should talk about it yet.

Now I'm really curious. Do you have to create a romance?

A-- no! I wouldn't even know how to!

[ She laughs a little, reaches out and pets the top of Cardia's head. ]

Honestly that's harder to do than you'd think. And you probably already think it's hard.
