[Rebecca disappeared for a while. Presumably to talk to somebody else- but eventually she comes back to their room, looking absolutely exhausted.

But she takes a seat on the end of the bed, looking towards Cardia.]

... If Akechi really dies tomorrow, I'm the last Historian.

... Then you really need to be kept safe.

[ Cardia is also looking exhausted, but she's saying this firmly. ]

[disclosures]

I'd rather not, but I can't deny two of my favorite people, can I?

[At least she'll try to hang on. Cardia's asking.]

... Okay, but this... this part is important. We have three Villains left. Veronica, Kyouka, and Belph are the remaining three.

[discardia]

I know. The Vizier's having me make another announcement tomorrow.

But I also wished for an item for a guaranteed villain faction change and gave it to someone I trust, just in case.

[disclosures]

[She takes a moment to think about this, closing her eyes and nodding.]

Which one? Belph?

... You didn't trust me with it?

[discardia]

Souji. I wasn't sure if it would tamper with your Historian role or not.

[disclosures]

I don't think it would have.

[She breathes shakily.]

But I'm glad it's with somebody you trust. If you trust them, I trust them.

[Though she worries Okita might keel over and die??]

[discardia]

He's definitely trustworthy. A lot of the things I found out, that you didn't tell me, I learned from him.

[disclosures]

[She hums softly.]

I don't know what I can't say and I'm... sometimes not entirely sure of it.

[A glance away before she focuses back on Cardia.]

I think the Viziers are doing a better job than the Historians... were... are? It seems like they've been spreading a lot of information. Akechi was the one who was in closest contact with them.

[discardia]

I think all of this has been a definite group effort. You've worked just as hard, Rebecca.

[disclosures]

[For a moment she looks completely distant, unaware of what's happening around her. It takes a few more seconds before she comes to.]

I don't feel like I have.

Hey... Cardia? Were you the one who had the pumpkin objective?

[discardia]

... Yes.

[ Spoken in the tone of someone who was definitely not happy about it or even thinking about it now. ]

[disclosures]

[She looks briefly amused.]

I thought so. Sanji came to me, asking to be his healer. He said you wouldn't do it until he found somebody.

...Do you have another objective, Cardia?

[discardia]

I do, but I absolutely refuse to do it.

[ Oh. ]

[disclosures]

[It seems like the later objectives become much more difficult or unsettling than the early ones.]

Good. Because you really shouldn't do it at this point.

[discardia]

The objective count has already been met, right? So there'd be no point.

[disclosures]

For Civilians and Heroes, yes. But... I'm wondering if we raised the objective count too high. I have- I need to talk to the Crafters.
